Fleets and taxi companies in India will be able to rely on a base version of the 3-Series, that is 320d version. This will have a price with less than the equivalent of 9,000 euros. Indian version of the Autocar publication announced today that the German manufacturer will launch in India a version of the base 3-Series to be designed especially for taxi companies and fleet buyers.
The new version will be released in January. The changes that BMW will bring to the models in question refers to removing items of comfort such as electric chairs, glass ceiling, trap or even cup holders, following the car to come to the necessary minimum standard.
After the changes, the price of the basic version (which will be called the “Executive” according to information provided by Autocar India) will fall from 3 million to 2.4 million rupees, the final price will be the equivalent of 34,000 euros.
