Along with the new BMW 5 Series and M5 F10, Bavarian engineers test also the future 5-Series Touring. Unlike the first two models, touring version of F10 5-Series is still hid behind alot of camouflage, a sign that the model is only at the beginning of development.
Germans at BMW are testing the new 5-Series F10 Touring version. Unlike the saloon version of this model, the specimen tested by BMW engineers wear something more camouflage during testing phases. Except for the ceiling and windows, the tested model is completely hidden.
As you can see, the front and profile 5-Series Touring are identical to those of 5-Series. The model will have to keep appealing to be able to fight with rival brands like Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse Estate and Audi A6 Avant. Compared with previous generation of BMW 5-Series Touring version, ceiling presents a line slightly inclined. Efficient Dynamics technology and the engines range of the 5-Series will be both elements that we’ll find on the next Touring 5-Series F10. The range of transmissions include a manual gearbox with six gears, a steptronic gearbox with six gears and there is the possibility of introducing an eight-speed ZF unit.
