BMW M3 GTS – Most Powerful M3

BMW presented the most extreme M3 ever built. Named M3 GTS, it has a 4.4 liter V8 engine that develops 450 hp, 7-speed M-DCT gearbox and exclusive 19″ alloy wheels with 225/35 tires in front and 285/30 rear. The model will be built only on order, for 115,000 Euros.
The new BMW M3 GTS has the suspensions modified, but the most notable element is the very large spoiler located on the trunk, which generates a large force of push. Even if the standard M3 model has gone through an intense process of weight reduction, for example the roof of the car is made with carbon fiber, BMW also has found a few tricks to further reduce weight for the new GTS.
Thus, the sports seats are very light and titanium is used for different parts. Deliveries will start on the german market in May 2010. At the interior, the manufacturer chose Alcantara leather and carbon fiber elements. To adapt to the rally conditions, the new GTS is equipped with rollbar for safety, fire extinguisher on board, monococa structure, six-point safety belts, adjustable seats and Pirelli PZero Corsa tires. The engine receives an extra 30 pony, reaching a maximum output of 450 hp. In addition, GTS is easier with 165 kg to the traditional M3, with a weight of only 1490 kilograms.
