BMW is working on the next-generation BMW M3, CSL Model. The new generation of BMW M3 CSL, that means 2010 BMW M3 CSL will make its debut at Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 and BMW will produce only 100 units with a price of 90,000 euros, approximately $140,000 per unit for the year 2010.
BMW M3 CSL will lose a lot of weight because the model will be made without navigation system, radio and air-conditioning. BMW will use carbon fiber in the front, like as hood, roof, apron, rear bumper and side panels, so the new M3 CSL will lose a lot weight.
The car will have an 4.0-liter V8 engine, same as the curent M3, but the new CSL will have 470 horsepower under the hood, by some mechanical changes to produce these 50hp up.
